ITS 2011 will be held at the Kobe International House in Kobe, Hyōgo on Kansai (Japan's West side) area of Japan. This hall is near from originally planned hotel, and more convenient for sightsee in the kobe city and tour to Kyoto and Osaka.
About Kobe
Kobe (神戸市 Kōbe-shi) is the sixth-largest city in Japan and is the capital city of Hyōgo Prefecture on the southern side of the main island of Honshū, approximately 500 km (310.69 mi) west of Tokyo. Kobe is a prominent port city with a population of about 1.5 million. Tutorials and Workshop
Attendance to Workshops or Tutorials requires payment of the day 1 participation fee. This fee covers entrance to all tutorials or the workshop if approved by the workshop organizers

On-site Registration
On-site registration accepts cash only (Japanese Yen). Credit card is not allowed for the on-site registration. Registration rate is same as the late registration one. If you are going to use on-site registration, please let us know by an e-mail.

Cancellation policy
We hope you will be able to attend ITS 2011. If you must cancel your trip, we will consider requests to refund registration fees for cancellations received before 1st November 2011.
Conference Venue
The ITS 2011 Conference will be held in the Kobe International House. It is located about 2-3 minutes' walk from Sannomiya station, which is the main terminal, and where the heart of Kobe city. It is very convenient for business trips and tourism.

Transportation from Airport
Kobe Airport Terminal (UKB) is approximately 4 miles from the conference hall. A train called Port Island Line (Port Liner) delegate from the Airport to nearest stop of the conference hall called Shinnomiya Station for ¥320 (about $3) one way. Taxi fares are roughly ¥2500 ($25).
Kansai International Airport (KIX) is approximately 18 miles from the conference hall. It locates on the other side of Osaka bay. An airport limousine service is the first choice. It will take you to Sannomiya Station from the Airport for ¥1900 ($19).
