Sponsorship for ACM Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces (ITS2011)

Smart phones and pad-type devices equipped with touch panels are currently getting popular and popular because they provide us more natural and intuitive interaction than traditional PCs. Those interfaces, which are called interactive surfaces, are not limited to small devices and they have been applied to such as tables, walls, floors, and even human bodies. It becomes more and more important to design and develop interactive surface technologies of the next generation.

We are currently organizing "ACM International Conference on Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces (ACM ITS 2011)" which will be held in Kobe, Japan on this November (https://its2011.jp/). This conference has been organized every year since 2006 and hundreds of people have gathered and discussed their advanced technologies of interactive tabletops and surfaces.
